I prefer tonuse this brand of nail polish remover. It's my favorite %26 recommend it to everyone. I like how easily the nail polish comes off without a lot of effort.
I was sent an unsealed product that leaked on both packages of my bread. I was given 1 day to return it, which didn’t work in my favor because I work! But seriously, why put a chemical in a bag with food?!?!? I couldn’t even get a refund for an empty bottle!
I had a really hard time getting my acrylic nails off using this remover, even after soaking my nails in this remover for 2 hours. I had to work on the nails several days in a row and peel the sides off a little at a time each day. And the remover didn't even take the fingernail polish off the nail! I tried getting the edge of each nail up so that the remover could get underneath but that didn't seem to help. After soaking and soaking over multiple days, I wound up taking my last four acrylic nails off by sliding a piece of dental floss in between the acrylic nail and my real nail and basically sawing through the stuff holding the nail on. It was painful but those nails were two months old and had to go! I still have a lot of the stuff that held the nails onto my actual fingernails (it's not glue, I think it's acrylic too). This remover won't take it off. I'm hoping my nails grow out quickly so I can cut off the residue still on my nails. Next time I need Acetone, I'll get a different brand,. BTW, it doesn't say anywhere on the bottle what kind of a recepticle (for soaking your nails) you need to use with this remover. I grabbed a couple of little plastic cups and poured the remover in both. Before I could get settled and start soaking, the remover MELTED my plastic cups and ate holes through them. I had remover all over the place! I eventually had to find a glass container - but I didn't want to use anything that might have food in it sometime so it was quite a hunt to find something suitable. It was an ordeal getting my acrylic nails off. I definitely think I'll never have acrylic nails put on again. But, if I do, I definitly won't use this remover to try to take them off.
LOL at being asked to review acetone but okay here goes: it’s effective at removing nail polish, gel, and dip from your nails. It’s also therefore effective at removing stain and finishes from furniture, countertops, and whatever else it may come in contact with, so use your brain and be careful with it.
I wasn't happy with this. I did everything a nail tech would do using a cotton ball, aluminum foil letting it sit for about 45 minutes! Then I Googled how to remove gel polish. I ended up taking the foil off and replacing it with saran wrap. It still didn't work. I ended up having to scrape the polish off with a tweezers and all didn't get it all off! I used about 3/4 of the bottle...
