missing pieces plastic fake wood is peeling

did not come with bottom 'feet', as pictured. bottom shelf sat directly on floor, so i got 4 bricks, spray painted black, rested bottom shelf on those, all good. did not come with any 'top closure' , the top shelf is not secure, can just 'lift off'. all shelves like this would need to be secured to wall if have children. i'm fine with it, but would NOT have paid this price,, woulda gave $25.00 at the most. the shelves are good and the plastic supports screwed together nicely and look fine as well. you are NOT going to move it without attached feet or with the top shelf 'floating'. height from bottom to top shelf is 54"

This is a very easy to put together shelf. It took probably ten minutes per shelf, instead of five, as it gets tiring turning the poles. But it is a nice looking shelf. The Wood is sturdy and heavy. You will need to make sure weight is balance, and I plan on adding supporting L brackets to catch it in case my son were to try and climb it since I am using it in his toy closet. I plan on buying more and making them taller, all the way to the ceiling, since there would be no limit to how many tiers you could make it. I would obviously put very light items on the top portions and make sure there the shelves are anchored. I plan on buying another three or four more as soon as they are back in stock. Great deal. My best friend saw the shelves, and now wants some also.

I was so pleased with the 5-shelf bookcases, that I ordered it again. It is a wood grain print on particle board with plastic beveled upright dividers. It is 4ft 7" tall x 2ft 2"wide x 11"deep. Fast and easy to assemble without tools. Fairly sturdy and looks nice. I purchased this to display my Christmas Hallmark Singing snowmen. Good for light-medium weight display or storage needs. I would not use this in a toddlers room without stabilizing it to the wall. The "two-for-the price" is a real bargain. Was shipped to my home in just a couple days, however it did arrive with minor damage to a few shelf corners because of not being properly packaged.

When you only want to get small light things off the floor and organize them, these plastic column, thin shelf units are an economical solution. I expect them to hold up for a few years, but will not be in public view. Used for work item storage.
