Optimus U-32030 520-Watt 3.4-Gal. Portable Warm-Mist Humidifier with Wicking Vapor System and Dual Water Tanks

My experience with the Optimus U32030 3.5 Gallon Warm Mist Humidifier has been nothing short of disappointing. This product not only failed to live up to its advertised features but also stopped working shortly after I purchased it. One of the key promises made on the website was the low maintenance of this humidifier. However, the reality proved to be quite the opposite. The claim that there's "No need to clean the heating element" is outright misleading. I found myself dealing with a heating element that required regular cleaning, adding an unexpected and inconvenient maintenance task to my routine. The high, low, and medicine cup settings, along with the variable humidistat, were touted as features that provide users with control over their humidity preferences. Unfortunately, these settings did not function as expected, and the humidity levels were inconsistent at best. The advertised "Patented Warm Wicking Vapor System" did not deliver the reliable warm mist it promised, further diminishing the product's effectiveness. The automatic shut-off when the tank is empty is a standard feature in humidifiers, yet it failed to prevent the premature failure of this particular model. The 3.4-gallon tank capacity is impressive on paper, but its functionality is irrelevant when the humidifier ceases to operate as intended. The PTC ceramic heating element and absorption sleeve, which were supposed to enhance performance, fell short of expectations. The 24-hour run time on the high setting was not achieved, and the refill indicator light did not provide accurate information about the remaining water level. In conclusion, the Optimus U32030 3.5 Gallon Warm Mist Humidifier has proven to be a regrettable purchase. The advertised features do not align with the actual performance, and the premature failure of the product raises serious concerns about its overall quality and durability. I would strongly advise against investing in this humidifier and recommend exploring other options that genuinely deliver on their promises for a more reliable and satisfying humidification experience.

They need to redesign the lever on the switch that tells if it empty. it will say it's empty at times when it is not, due to the lever not being pushed in enough. also one time I caught it not draining don't know why. Otherwise very good for the price

While the humidifier has large capacity, it has only an analog control for humidity and requires sleeves that are difficult and expensive to acquire.

This humidifier is working well so far. It runs about 24 hours on both tanks on high. It is very quiet and easy to fill.

My water is hard and this humidifier is not for hard water. I used a Britina pitcher to filter the water and I still have to clean the humidifier everytime I refill. Detail clean. I believe this unit was used. The Vicks warm mist humidifier (15.99) is cheap but less maintenance and gets the job done.
