Orajel Analgesic and Astringent Rinse , 16 oz (Pack of 2)

I was happy to find this product to help with a toothache while waiting on visit to Dentist but after uses this a couple of days, I have more pain than before because the rinse has caused tenderness to my gum, which has caused more pain than the toothache. It took a few uses to relieve the toothache pain, but within a few hours there appeared the gun tenderness that reven ice packs don't alleviate. I will not be using the remainder of this bottle nor recommend it to anyone. The reason for the 2 stars is the fact that it did help the toothache but gave me gum irritation and pain.

My husband uses this when he has tooth pain. I have used it also. It works and is a great product, but expensive

I brought it in April when everything was basically shut down and couldn't get an appointment. My pain level was pass a 10 but after 5-10 minutes I was fine my gums and everything was numb but I didn't care as long as the pain stopped.

I bought this last night. I have a dentist appointment in 2 weeks but I just felt like I could not take 2 more weeks of this. Running out of options, I was so angry and in pain. I even brushed my teeth excessively hoping that maybe the mint would soothe the pain, it didn't. I tried cold water, clove oil, lots of things for my toothache due to a hole in my tooth. I saw this product while I was shopping for other things. Decided to try it out, great great great. Cannot stress that enough. I brush my teeth before and after eating , but with the addition of this mouth wash, I don't even have pain at all when chewing like I usually do. Even though I chew on the side of my mouth that is perfectly fine, it still would hurt because of my top tooth touching my broken one. This rinse has made it possible for me to eat without ANY pain. And I didn't eat for atleast 3 days because I couldn't take the pain while chewing, like I said even though I chewed on the opposite side, nothing is wrong with the other side of my teeth. Still hurt. But with this? Oh man. I'm sure I'll be 100% fine until my dentist appointment! Definitely recommend this product

I had been using the Oragel gel which helps but then my teeth/mouth started feeling sore and my jaw and temple area were beginning to hurt too. I bought this after I remembered they had a product like this and I followed directions and it actually worked pretty well. instantly there was relief, the pain wasn't at a 10 to begin with but it was annoying and I couldn't sleep. After about 20 or so minutes it felt back to normal. I used it at like 5pm last night and didn't need it again until 1030 this AM. This AM it relieved the pain again, but more so right away. Teeth pain is the worst but I'd recommend trying this if your teeth are sore or hurting.
