Crest Floss Picks 30 ct (Pack of 2)

I've been a long-time user of the Oral-B “gum care” floss picks. They've always been great, and I really like the unique shape that works much better for me than the typical “C” shaped floss picks of other brands. However, the product must have recently changed. I recently bought a new package and it is now terrible! I noticed the header on the package that says “New CleanTech Floss”, so I assume this is the issue. I now can't even floss my teeth without breaking 3 of 4 picks at a time! And the floss string is now terrible. I can't use these at all and will have to switch to another brand unless they bring back the old version. I have no idea how this update made it past user testing. I've been a loyal user so I hate to leave this bad review, but I had to be honest!

I bought these a month ago and they are useless to the point of being comical. I'm convinced that the ones I got have never been tested by Oral-B for quality or utility. The floss immediately loosens from its holders simply from squeezing the handle. If you try to floss from them be prepared for the floss to detach from one side almost immediately. Its impossible to use these for dental hygiene. From the other reviews it seems that Oral-B recently changed their manufacturing. Clearly they skipped the testing and QA stages of the redesign.

Have used these for years. The new floss has cut my gums, is harder to get between teeth, gets stuck between teeth and is painful to remove, has shredded apart, left pieces of floss between my teeth and in my mouth, have popped, and have caused gum soreness with redness and irritation. I have had to use multiple flossers because they shred apart and break. I am currently looking for new flossers because I will no longer be using these.

Not what I expected.

I use this all the time. However, the 3 most recent packages I got seem to have gone way downhill in quality! The floss either comes loose on one end or just tears in the middle. It doesn't seem to be as strong as even just regular floss. This evening, I went through 6 of these just to floss my teeth. Previous packages had significantly better quality!
