My old pair of Bogs has a beautiful flower pattern on the rubber portion of the boot, so it's visible with my barn pants. But 12 years of wearing them left them without any tread, so I replaced them this year. The new pair has a lovely pattern on the neoprene part, the part hidden by long pants,so they're not as pretty to look at imo. But they are comfortable. And they keep my feet warm and dry. Hopefully these will last me another 12 years at the barn. Bogs are the best.
This is my son's second pair . His size 11's developed matching holes at the widest part of the upper after 2 or 3 years. I guess they were too narrow for his foot, so this time I bought size 12. He walks all winter in them and they kept his feet warm and dry. They have decent grip in all but the iciest conditions. They are a very heavy boot, but he likes them.
I'm usually a mens 7.5, rarely an 8, but I ordered a 7 and they fit me well. I like the extra rubber around the bottom since I am working in them kicking things around occasionally. I can take them on and off easily. I didn't rate 5 stars because Iv been working outside in New England weather in January and my toes have been cold. I haven't tried thick warm socks that may be the trick im not sure. A 40 degree day these things keep me warm
My boots are warm and dry, but the cut of the upper causes them to rub on calf and shin. They are narrower in the toe box than anticipated, causing pressure on the side of my big toe. I wear a 6-1/2D, so this was a surprise in a size 7 boot. I'll keep wearing them to see if things change with time. So far, a little slippery in the snow. This may change as the rubber wears.
i have been wearing bogs boots for 25 years. during my concrete years and now my retired years, they fit my feat perfectly and last longer than other rubber insulated boots i have owned !!! just bought a new pair of classic mid, i have neuropathy in my feet now but they fill great when feeding our horses. will always buy bogs!!!
