Oral-B ProfessionalCare SmartSeries 5000 - Tooth brush - cordless - silver/white

This is our 2nd Oral-B Professional Care Electric Toothbrush. Had our original for over 9 yrs, so no complaints about it. This model has more bells and whistles, and I haven't figured out how to change the brush mode. Guess I'll have to read the instructions...ugh. Also, it has more power than our old one, so it should clean better. All and all, we're pleased with this purchase. We found Walmart had the best price around and, as usual, we're pleased with Walmart's order process and delivery.

I like this and it's a big improvement over my last Oralb. However, the instruction booklet is very lacking. It's not arranged in a simple bullet-point format and I gave up trying to figure it all out after about 5 minutes. Why can't things be SIMPLE?? My newest car has a owner's manual the size of a phone book (well, not really but it seems like it!) and now a simple electric tooth brush requires a half hour of reading to use it properly. Sheesh!!!

This was my first electric toothbrush and I am not disappointed. Now I see why the dentist has been pushing electric versus manual. The timer works from across the apartment (doesn't have to be next to the toothbrush - I'm the type that walks around the house while brushing teeth) and the toothbrush stops moving when it's time to switch to a different section in your mouth. The various speeds/pressures are a nice feature and of course, the timer also serves as a clock, which is nice to have in the bathroom while I get ready for work. Overall, great purchase and a better price than in-store or at Target.

I had an electric toothbrush before and was not impressed. I decided to try this one being it had a smaller head. I have had it about a month and I can already tell the difference in the whiteness of my teeth and the c.l.e.a.n. feeling I get. I love it.

These really do an excellent job on our teeth. The flossing brush head that came with it is good for my husband, but too rough on my gums. I bought the professional cleaning brush head and it works well. We also like the timer that tells you how long to brush in each quarter of your mouth.
