This was my first heart rate monitor and I didn't want to spend a ton of money. It's comfortable, seems accurate and easy to read. It really motivates me to get moving! Setting it up was a little tricky, but if I can do it, anyone can.
I had to send the first one back and the second one didn't work any better. The watch worked but the touch screen didn't work beyond the first screen; the other 5 screens were not accessible. I even tried to use the tip of my fingernail, but it still didn't work. They need to work out the fine tuning. It can be a good product if they work out the bugs in it.
I'm so happy with this product. I start using it since 3 weeks (running and workout) and it has meet my expectations. Good quality materials and good response with the transmitter and receiver, display shows good visible numbers... the only thing that does not include it's distance meter or pedometer, but without that is still a good product. There's a function that I still don't know how to activate it (touch-on function), but I don't need. I really, really recommend it...
I bought this because I'm pregnant and need to monitor my heart rate when exercising. I do not get accurate readings half the time. I tried putting the few drops of water on the chest strap like the instructions say, but I found that spit actually works best. I end up having to use the stop watch function to take my pulse. I wish I had kept the box because I would definitely return this if I could.
I love this heart rate monitor. Believe them when they say it is water resistant...I've drenched it a few times. I wear the watch even when I'm not wearing the monitor its just that cool to me. The belt fits snug and isn't annoying to my skin. Great price.
