Organic Valley Organic Lactose-Free Half and Half, 32 fl oz

I buy it whenever I can for my coffee. I do not tolerate lactose easily, so this is the best option for me. Lactose-free milk and non-dairy creamers do not compare to the taste of this half-half with coffee. But at times it is impossible to find in Chicago.

I use this lactase free half & half in all recipes that include milk. Quiche, grits, pumpkin & impossible pie, mashed potatoes and the list goes on! Although it's becoming increasingly hard to find.

I had the same issue that CreamyCoffeeLvr had with my last 3 quarts all with that same February 13 expiration date. And, to make matters worse (though it's kind of bad enough to find that at the bottom of the carton---eeewww) it gave me a really upset stomach. I won't go into details. I, too, was having a tough time finding this delicious addition to my daily coffee so when I did I stocked up. Would love an explanation as to the cause of this from someone in charge. I normally give this rave reviews!

Not sure why but the last two 32oz Lactose Free Half and Half cartons I used with an exp date of Feb 13th had a large settled mass around an inch or two thick with a brie like consistency at the bottom. Didn't notice till the last of it was poured and the carton was still heavy because of the mass at the bottom. I've noticed it's been difficult to find lately so I'm hoping it's a quality control or ingredient issue that can be resolved soon as I love this product. 3 stars for now but normally a 5 star product.

This has been my saving grace. I use it for Everything! Including to make homemade ice cream. I hope to find this in my stores again soon! I feel lost without it!
