The first few shape didn't produced a close shave, but after that it worked like a charm -- close shave and fast in usually one pass. Maybe this is because the blade haven't broken in yet. Before this I own a $40 Panasonic. It did the shaving just fine too. But this one is much quick and feel more comfortable when shaving. It's little nosier than my old one and I hardly use the cleaning base. Well, the manual said that I don't supposed to clean the shaver head with water, but only use the cleaning base with the solution. This is something that I didn't have to do with my old Panasonic. Overall I would definitely recommend shaver, but it's a little pricey though.

I purchased this electric razor for my boyfriend who just retired and who thought he did not like electric razors having tried an inexpensive one years ago. Well, after two weeks he is sold on it big time. He loves being able to shave before he gets into the shower and his skin if getting used to the different shaving method just as the product information said it would. So far he is very impressed and does not plan to return to his safety razor. It is a bit pricey but worth getting a high quality razor. It is also very highly rated by Consumer Reports.

I bought this Braun razor for my husband this Christmas and it is a great value for the money. Walmart had it at the cheapest price. I bought him a similar Braun 5 years ago and he never had a problem with it. He got a good, clean, close shave and used it almost every day. Any questions he had were answered when he called the 800#, they were very helpful. I would recommend this over any Norelco product. I bought this product as an upgrade to the previous.

I purchased this shaver for my son for Christmas. I chose this one based on product reviews as I have never purchased one before. My son loves that he doesn't have to use shaving cream. Of course, that is with any electric razor! However, he has absolutely no complaints and has been shaving everyday, even his "bodacious" sideburns!

My wife is so happy I received this gift, and so am I. I have one of those beards that could sand hardwood right after shaving, but this Braun shaver has tamed the untame-able! Not only does it give me the best shave ever, but the shave lasts longer than any shave from any blade or shaver I've ever used . . . my wife loves to nuzzle me now, and I like that! The cleaning system couldn't be easier to use, and the ergonomics are meant to fit a man's hand. It's a shame I couldn't rate it more than five stars in each category. If Braun built cars, you could bet I'd buy one!
