Pacific Foods Organic Chicken Noodle Soup, 16.1 oz Can

We LOVE this soup when it's not moldy! But, similar to a number of other brands post COVID, QC must have absolutely plummeted because when you open some of the cans you are presented with the foul oder of mold. Fungus. Spores. And it's not a "new recipe" as other reviews have mentioned because we checked the date on both moldy and non-moldy cans. It's legitimately just moldy contents - not sure which ingredient because we are frequently in a hyrry to feed our child and throw out the disgusting bowls. Just smell it before you eat it. You'll thank me. Message to the manufacturer and Walmart: We are going to keep smelling these and keep requesting refunds until the problem is resolved. Also would appreciate a crack down on QC because I wouldn't be surprised if, when everything shut down and all work halted, and people stopped working and stopped caring, that may have also made ingredient stores sit out in worse conditions than normal (maybe on trucks, boats, etc. that weren't being cleaned as they should, maybe in gear that wasn't being cleaned, etc.) opening up the possibility of mold contamination. This isn't the only product that has had intense mold smell in it (Uncle Ben's rice is a memorable one with the frequency it has mold).

We got one right can of soup and 3 wrong cans of soup. It's like they didn't look at the soul they were pulling off the shelf.

Easy to heat up either by microwave or stovetop. Most importantly is how good it taste! I would definitely buy more in the future. Highly recommended!
