Ingredients like C1 19140 which is a cosmetic dye in this product have potential side effects. The dye is also called Tartrazine has a few known side effects in humans. It may cause allergic reactions to some people, specifically those with asthma or aspirin intolerance. Its symptoms include hives and swelling of the lips, tongue, throat, and neck. In the United Kingdom, warnings about specific food dyes, which include tartrazine, were issued in 2008 because of their potential side effects. Why are these dyes included in body creams when customers only want moisturisers and are not interested in the colour of the products. What are the effects when products are used in the long term?

I've been using this lotion since my first pregnancy 20 years ago. My whole family has a strong preference and brand loyalty. But this is my first time buying direct from your company. While it may be cheaper through Prime (shipping being the main factor), I am more than happy to cut that middle man out right now. I've created an account here and it will take a lot to move me. My only complaint is it is a trial to get the last bit out of the bottle but the actual lotion itself? Phenomenal. The scent is so comforting as well without being overwhelming or seeming too perfume-like.

I have been using Palmers body lotion for over a decade. However, I just bought a new bottle which is a new formula and it's awful. It doesn't moisturize as well, in fact skin is drier than ever. It is creating a lot of itchiness. The butter-like feel and fragrance is no longer there. The new fragrance is not reminiscent of cocoa butter. This is such a disappointment for a brand and product that used to be amazing…bring back the old stuff!!! Please
