Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula Repairing & Shine Enhancing Daily Conditioner, 8.5 fl oz

This is the only conditioner I've ever loved and actively used but since changing to the new formula/branding it's no where near as good which is disappointing. The old formula left my hair soft and caused less tangling - I could go the entire day without brushing my long hair which goes below my bum. Please bring it back

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My fine hair has become incredibly dry as a result of my salon appointments for "natural coloring." It's difficult for me to locate conditioners that don't make my hair feel oily or straw-like. When I initially used it, my hair absorbed so much of it that there was nothing left to rinse out—could this be the miracle I've been hoping for? My hair felt a little thick on the second day, and I was like no:( I tried it again, and my hair looks and feels FABULOUS! Angels sing as the clouds split! I'm delighted to express how pleasantly surprised I am. Instead of being brittle, my hair feels robust. My ends look wonderful as if I just had them cut, and the sheen has truly astonished me!!! Normally, the sheen diminishes into brittleness as my color fades.I was able to reclaim my shine! I'm overjoyed! This stuff is fantastic, and I strongly suggest it! Oh, and it smells fantastic! Enjoy!

I do not like this new formula. With the old formula my hair was always soft and smooth when I would run my fingers through it! Now my fingers often seem to get caught or are met with friction when I run my fingers through it. In addition, there was a change in the smell of the product too. I can be really sensitive to smells so consistenty is important to me, the old formula smelled amazing while the new formula does not. One other differnce was now the product seems to leave a residue on my hands after putting it in my hair. The one good thing about the new formula is that is significantly reduced the frizz in my hair.

I bought this conditioner several months ago, and became OBSESSED-- never thought I'd need to buy a different brand ever again-- then restocked last month and was so disappointed. The new formula is AWFUL, and all the product imagery still reflects the old formula (the green banner on the old bottle says "Advanced Formula with Monoi, new bottle says "New and Improved Super Detangling Formula," so there's no way to tell if you're getting some of the old batch. The new version smells worse, is watery/thin, and does terribly in your hair if you leave a little in as many with curly hair do. Palmer's-- PLEASE go back!

After a few washes with this conditioner my hair has never been healthier and stronger. I have permed and color treated hair and have been suffering from dry, damaged hair with a lot of split ends. This conditioner really reduced hair fall and breakage as well as deeply moisturized and strengthened my hair strands. I've tried other conditioners but none of them worked as close to this one. This is the conditioner I've been looking for...
