I think as a clarifying shampoo it works great, it cleansed my scalp alright, my scalp felt a little oily & had build up still after swimming for hours & I used the matching conditioner as well (also made a review on the conditioner) I feel like the smell was quite strong nothing over bearing but it was PROMINENT. After my hair is about 80% dry my hair felt very soft which I forgot to mention in my conditioner review. I would recommend to someone who wants a natural clarifying shampoo but i don't know if it'd use again because of the smell. By the way I did not smell a hint of lavender or see lavender in the ingredients maybe there is and I missed it. But to each it's own.

I started using this about a month ago and I am completely in love. My hair has never been in such great condition. Shiny, volume, soft, sooooo soft. Dramatically reduced my frizz. It wont "lather" like you expect, but that's because it lacks parabens and sulfates, and isn't supposed to. My color lasts forever as well. I'm going to try the White Mallow leave in with the cleanser/conditioner duo for maximum effect. I can't remember loving my hair this much. Its life changing.
