Palmer's Shea Formula Jar 3.5 oz.

I've been looking for the Palmer's shea formula that I used to use, but hadn't been able to find it anywhere. So I got some of the new formula, thinking it was maybe just a packaging change. But no. The entire formulation is different. It's extra greasy now, instead of absorbing into the skin well. Like, I feel like I have to dry off my skin after using this before I can do anything else. Also, I agree with other reviewers who say they are disappointed that it now has cocoa butter in it. The formula starts off smelling kind of vanilla-y when you first put it on, but within 5 minutes there is a strong cocoa smell. The old shea butter formula had such a light, refreshing fragrance. If you value your customers at all, PLEASE bring back the old formula of the Shea Butter Formula with Vitamin E. I will use what I have of this, because it does still moisturize. But I am not happy with the change of formula.

It's disappointing that you discontinued Shea Butter Formula with Vitamin E (which I have used for years) and replaced it with Raw Shea Balm. The Balm is no where near the same quality as Shea Butter Formula plus it smells like cocoa, which is overbearing. I will not be buying the replacement and can't find any of Palmer's products that could replace the Shea Butter Formula so will have to look elsewhere.

Actually Just left 5 star Review. Went on website to ask why my new jars are gritty texture. Can be messy. Reading others reviews answers that. Thx all. I know shea can be. I put it in a jar, microwave to make it smooth- perfect. Yes- listen to your customers. Go back to original. Thot something was wrong. Was going to return to store before discovering melting.

I used to use the palmers shea butter formula all over from head to toe before you switched to the raw shea balm years ago. This product doesn't compare to the formulation prior to it's initiation. Please bring the shea butter formula formulation back!

NOT A FAN OF THE NEW PRODUCT ITS NOTHING LIKE THE OLD PRODUCT!!! PLEASE BRING THE OLD PRODUCT BACK!!!
