I bought this thinking it was the best lotion on the market for stretch marks during pregnancy. I literally am peeling lotion and itching so severely every time I've used it. I thought I was using the 2 step system incorrectly but it's really just the lotion itself. Within seconds of applying the lotion peels off all over the place. Then I get very itchy…Do not buy this.

I bought this lotion as I was trying to conceive and wanted to try to prevent any future stretch marks. I was so embarrassed, in the store, when the people around me were saying something smelled awful. Of course, it was all behind my back and I only realized they were talking about me when a child blurted "you stink lady!" I was horrified. I'd been using this stuff for days and noticed a slight odor but thought it may have been the soap or deodorant I was using (so I was constantly searching for something different because Palmer's always smells great). Nope, it was the lotion. Thanks! At least I know who I can trust as far as "friends" are concerned.

This is my first pregnancy and as soon as I started noticing stretch marks about 6 weeks ago I bought this lotion. I've been using it for 6 weeks every single day and it does not work. My stretch marks are noticeably darker and longer and there are more of them. I do not recommend this product.

I used the old formula through the majority of my pregnancy with my son. I used it liberally EVERYDAY before bed and after showers. I could honestly feel the difference in my skin. About a week and a half before my due date I ran out of my last bottle and was forced into using the new formula. It was greasy, stained one of my tops, seriously bothered my sensitive nose and then BAM stretch marks. Mind you we are talking about a half pound difference in my belly by the time my son was born. The new formula just did not have the same effect that the old did in terms of elasticity and absorption. The old formula was my saving grace and it was all for naught. Call me crazy but I will not recommend this to anyone.

I used Palmer's massage lotion for stretch marks all through my first pregnancy (July 2017 - March 2018). In December 2018, I got pregnant again and in that short time, I was disappointed to find that this lotion had completely changed. The signature cocoa butter smell is gone, and the consistency is not the same. It does not absorb into the skin like the old formula did. It's greasier/stickier and it makes me question whether it will be as effective. I'm so disappointed! I found three bottles of the old formula (don't have that lime green label at the bottom) at the back of a grocery store shelf and have been rationing them...I SO wish the old formula was still available.
