Easy to handle-fits well on counter-nice looking. Relatively well priced.
It is a nice size and looks nice but it dosnt seem like 1200 watts. My previous was 1000 and this one does not cook any faster.
So I got this microwave because it's the number 1 rated countertop micro on Consumer Reports. And yea, I guess it's very good at heating and has lots of options. But what micro isn't or doesn't nowadays? I can't measure consistency of wattage so I'll take Consumer Report's word. But that said, the user interface on this micro is ridiculous. You can see there are no numbers. So your options are hitting the 30 second button, incrementing one second at a time with the timer bar, or trying to use the "swipe," feature to get what you want. The second option is time consuming, and the last is finicky. Swiping causes the timer to jump an unpredictable number of seconds forward. It is very frustrating to use. Now I get if they were trying to be futuristic or ultra-lux, like BMW interfaces. I'd give them points if they came up with a sleek, modern user interface that looked cool. At least it would partially make up for being unfriendly and unintuitive. But no, this micro looks exactly like one from the 90's. They didn't push the design forward at all and just managed to eff up the usability instead. Imo, get a cheaper microwave that lets you punch in numbers, old-school style.
This item is not as described. The item you will receive is in the attached pic. Compute4Less Corp will not pay for the return so you will be stuck with it. If you purchase this product expecting it to be as described and when it won't fit in the space it advertises, be prepared to donate it to your local food pantry or list on FB marketplace, or store in your basement until you need another one or you have a friend who needs one. I have no idea what to rate this product because it is still new in an unopened box.
I bought this unit less than one year ago under the advice of Consumer Reports. Unfortunately, it lasted less than one year. Trying to get warranty service has been quite the headache. I sent an email to Panasonic but just told to take it to service center. The closest authorized service center is over 40 miles away in Tacoma and they don't seem to answer their phones. Of course this happens right before Easter dinner weekend.
