Just bought one of these, and it's just like the previous one I purchased in 2005. The difference is that it was $18 cheaper this time. I also had a Panasonic shaver before that. Expect these to last 4-5 years, as that's what the previous two Panasonic models I had lasted. Rub a little Afta on your face prior to the shave and this thing glides right over your face and leaves a smooth shave. I like it most after my 3-day beard grows out and I don't have to battle the razor to get rid of it. If you buy a $150 shaver instead of this one, you're throwing money away.

It does a fair to medium job for the money; I had hoped that it would cut better because I would like to use it for face/head. However, the only real draw back I have other than that is that when it is charging, the light does not change color to let you know it is charged.

Razor is pretty impressive for the price. Had several Braun razors which worked great, but any replacement part cost as much as the whole razor and they aren't the cheapest! Gonna give this one a try. It shaves well, battery is not bad and the replacement parts are not stupid expensive. Think I am going to like it.

I've had at least 10 electric razors over the years and this one is as good as any I've owned. I've owned Remington, Braun, Panasonic and Wahl. None of them are as good as they claim to be but this one shaves pretty close, has a decent side burn trimmer, charges quickly, and is easy to clean. It doesn't shave longer hairs on my neck so I use a safety razor for that. At $30 it's a good value; as good as a $90 Braun.

I previiously only used clippers/edgers to shave with as the electric shavers had irritated my skin in the past. I decided to try this electric shaver and a product called Bump Free II since it worked well when used after shaving with my clippers. I;ve been shaving with this shaver for the past few weeks and I am extremely pleased with the results. A much closer shave so I don't have to shave as often if I don't want to. I now only use my clippers to edge if needed.
