Panasonic Pro-Curve ES-7103K - Shaver

I read a couple reviews saying this shaver was less than desirable for some nit picky reasons. I am very satisfied with it's price and performance. It shaves my beard and head very smoothly without any irritation using my regular blade shave cream. I didn't have any trouble getting used to it, and get about five full head and beard shaves on a charge. Granted, I only have a three inch fringe of head hair left, so someone with a full head of hair might only get four shaves. I'm sure that shaving only my face would result in several more shaves (12/14) as listed in the user's manual. Charging, cleaning, and assembly is quite easy. I'm very satisfied with the product.

This is a replacement for an older Panasonic. Although I liked the old one, this new one is much improved in one area, the battery. The battery life is great. I can get almost 2 weeks of daily use with this new one. The shave quality is very high. The razor itself is comfortable to hold and use.

I am looking for a shaver to replace my Remington MS2-390. The Panasonic seems to be a quality machine, it looks good, is quiet and is easy to clean. But, it does not shave as close as the Remington. It does have a third slotted head that catches the longer hairs, which is the only problem i have with the Remington. I tried the Panasonic for a month, but I had to work harder and longer with it and still did not get as close a shave. I did not use it wet. The charge lasted me about 10 shaves which also is only a little more than half what I get with the Remington. I took it back and am still looking.

I agree with some other reviewers in that it definitely is worth the money. For the price it has more features than other razors. The reason I didn't give it a 5-star rating is because the openings on the foil are smaller than on my old Braun, and it doesn't catch everything on the first pass. This razor would have been perfect if one of the foils had bigger openings for coarse hair. Still, it delivers a good shave and is cheaper than other brands.

Had to purchase a new shaver for the husband because his old one broke. He's not a fan of shaving daily, but a new job requires him to be more clean shaven. He tried this shaver and just raved about it. He said it didn't pull or tug and it does give a really smooth shave. He's got a really tough coarse beard that grows quickly and it really did a good job. He also said it's also comfortable and easy to handle.
