Pandigital 7" Media Tablet 2GB

I recently purchased it from Walmart during Thanksgiving and would like to share my experience/research of last 1-2 weeks with it. - Supports Android 2.0 which is not upgradable. - Does not support Market Android to download utilities and softwares. - Claims to support flash player using dolphin browser but does not work. - Cannot play YouTube (without hacking), Netflix, and in fact most of the music websites as they require flash player. - Does not recognize songs and videos until you install SD Card. - Does not show title or image for Videos stored in internal memory or SD card. You will keep struggling to find which video to play. - No utilities (free/paid) supported to edit office docs or even to have notepad to save scratch notes. - Takes lot of time to load. - Pros is extremely good touch screen and speakers, but Cons are so high to make it worst ever tablet. - Poor customer support. It takes half an hour holding call over phone to reach customer service and finally they will not try to help you at all.

I have a laptop and am computer savvy. My husband "has employees for that" and does not use the computer for more than reading email, online news/sports and paying a few bills. I bought this for him for Christmas so he could do all that without me having to give him mine each evening. What a great buy for someone who does not use the computer all that much. I didn't want to spend $$$ for an Ipad or another laptop and this particular model came to my email box from Wal-Mart as a Deal of the Day not long before Thanksgiving this year. I got free shipping. When it arrived, I was afraid we would have to have one of the kids come over and set it up but he was able to do it himself with no trouble at all! This tablet has already met all my expectations and to me, it was a great value! I recommend one very highly!!!

Just got it in yesterday. We ordered this tablet bc my husband needs something to check his deer camera SD cards with...without having to drive back home, and for that, it seems perfectly functional. The only prob is that there isnt a way to SAVE the pics should he find one he does want to keep. The owners manual says there is, but I have been struggling to find it. Point is, it's not easily accessable if there is an option. But it does allow you to VIEW the pics and select all for deletion..as opposed to deleting one by one... So I try to go on adroid market to maybe download him a Photo App to help with this...another problem. We arent Wifi equippped at the house so Im thinkin I can go on the market place, download to my home computer, transfer to device. Easy rite? Wrong. You HAVE TO connect with the device via WIFI for the first log in to Android Market so there goes that idea. Who knows when I will get around to doing that. But Ultimately, its a great little gadget for what I bought it for and for the price. My 13 yr old son played with it a little last nite and told me he wanted one for Christmas. He mostly liked the music player option and the video. So yeah, its not bad..just some of the stuff can be complicated. But honestly if I had Wifi at my house, probably wouldnt be.

I love mine. I read a lot of books and it is so easy to download from Barnes and Noble. I have had mine over a year and use it probably 4-5 times a week. Didn't want games so that doesn't bother me. I can check my e-mail and my facebook. That is the three things I wanted. I recommend it for ease and enjoyment. I like it better than the kindle. Would like to get that case. Can't find one that fits it!

I got this tablet for me to use at work and to use at home.I love it. The only things i dont like about the pandigital is that it is thick,haevy.Also the ereader does not work it refuses to work.So besides all that it is excellent.For anyone who wants to surf the web listen to music and doesnt want to spend a whole lot of money i eccomend this for you.
