I've seen this selling for 120.00 or less all over the place. Since October 2010 the OS for the Pandigital Novel (white version) has been upgraded several times. The issues with the wi-fi connection seem to have been resolved in the last release (3/25/2011) and now they have an ereader for kindle, Barnes & Noble and Adobe Acrobat (ADE). If you go to www.slatedroid.com you'll find lots of minor updates that allow the Pandigital to access the Android MarketPlace, run flash 10.1, youtube application and much more. With these add-ons this becomes a great tablet for the money!

I purchased 2 for Xmas. One 4 me & one 4 my 14 yr old daughter. It was a little difficult 2 setup, however, once u r setup, the reader is ok Down loading from B&N was a breeze. On a not so posivitive note, it was kind of hard 2 turn the page, getting back 2 home page (u have 2 "tap" hard @ the top of the reader when u r reading a book). Over all it is a 3 star reader @ best. Should u purchase it, I strongly recommend a warranty that covers crack or broken glass because the manufacture warranty does not cover it. In the end I returned both ereaders back & purchased the Nook Color. Luv it. The Nook Color or Nook is worth the $$$. Great product. Barnes & Noble has a definite winner!!!!!

I purchased the pandigital novel in white (Android OS). I've had it only a few days, and so far very pleased with this item. I've read a few reviews on this item that it's hard to operate, pages don't turn etc. Remember people, this is touch screen, and if you read the instructions on how to turn the pages (with the tip of your finger, or fingernail, not the pad of your finger) you will have no issues. My 4 year old son even loves this e reader. He asks me every night if we can cuddle and read a book. I love that I can download childrens books on here for his age. BTW, he is even able to turn the pages on this device, so it's obviously not hard to operate. It is a littler harder for him at times, but once he puts his finger right, they flip.... If you want a good ereader that is touchscreen/wifi and don't want to spend too much money, I would purchace this one. Has a lot of features on it!!

Easy to use and setup, disappointed with battery life, can't get more than 3 hours read time.

This item was a bad thing from the start. we followed instructions (which were a pamphlet), the ad said it could do so many things. Tried to download a book and for a week it said the server was busy. Tried to call support and we are still waiting for a call back (we returned it). We went to barnes and noble who are supposed to be servers and they said so many people were having trouble. Oh, the one woman did say we could hook up to main computer and download in a certain file and then that should work. Not worth it, bought nook and within 1 minute my daughter had book she tried to download christmas day which we never got on pandigital.
