Pandigital SuperNova R80B400 Tablet, 8" SVGA, 512 MB RAM, 4 GB Storage, Android 2.3 Gingerbread

I bought this tablet about six months ago. When I first received it I had problems connecting to WIFI and turns out you have to call pandigital wait on hold for an hour give them all your personal information and have them email you a software patch to fix the problem which was not at all easy. After that everything was working fine except that you CANNOT use Netflix on this device and you cannot download android apps all apps have to come from Getjar (something I had never heard of) and more often than not you had to download them twice because the first time would fail. This is not a PC it is a web browsing e-reader that does not play video well at all. After learning to live with all those problems the last straw was when a little piece inside the device that attaches to the battery charger came loose and the battery would not charge. I called Pandigital to see if I could get that repaired and was told that they do not repair however if I still had the original packaging they would replace. Like a dummy I got rid of the packaging after a couple of months so six months later I did not have it so long story short I now have a very expensive brick. Save your money buy something that will actually play video and do things and you can get repaired without the runaround.

This tablet is a great value for the price. Researched several tablets before deciding on this one. It has more features than other 8" tablets and a lower price. Have not had any problems. Speakers have good sound. Graphics are clear. If you watch the youtube video on how to set up the android market (very easy if you follow instructions exactly), there is a huge selection of apps available. This tablet probably has many more functions than I am aware of or need.

I have had this for over 3 weeks. It works well i didn't expect it to be an ipad i wanted something in my budget it surfs the web great it takes a few seconds to down load apps and other than that the battery life is pretty accurate had to do the firm ware update no problem there over all best bang for your buck.very satisfied! I used the walmart tracker to locate my order it took a week to arrive system was great recived a text and email when order was in. The getjar is a little lacking with apps but it does real well i recomend getting the 32 GIG MEMORY CARD i filled my 4 gig micro sd in like ten minutes hope this helps.

After a lot of research and comparative shopping, I decided to purchase the Pandigital Supernova. This tablet performs as I hoped it would and carries a lot of nice features for the price (I even picked this one over the Kindle Fire). The apps under the Getjar are a little limited, but this tablet is perfect for on the go web browsing anywhere that you have wifi. I am very much satisfied with this purchase.

Got one my sister and it works good as a book reader and other programs It is missing a lot of apps that only come with Google Market. Big negative for a anything other then casual users. This does not have Google calendar, contacts, and market apps. There are other apps that are only available on the Google market too.
