Pantene Pro-V Truly Natural Hair Defining Curls Styling Custard, 7.6 Fl Oz

I have been natural for over two years and tried hundreds of products but this one is the best so far. Gives my twist outs amazing definition that lasts days so I get a lot of use out of one jar.

I was looking to try different styling products for my wash and gos. (4a Natural hair) This product came up in my walmart search the price is good enough for me so I bought it (with another styling cream). It was "okay" when I used it to style my wash go (added olive oil eco styler gel on top of it). It came out moisturized and shiny. But I now use it to keep my ends moisturized during the week. When you already have gel in your hair, then you add a product on top of that, many times it will create tiny little bits in the hair from the cream and gel mixing, but this curl custard does not do that. It doesn't create any white residue from the gel that was already in my hair. My only issue with this product is the smell is too strong. It should be cut back like 50%. Other than that, this product will be a staple in my regiment.

This custard is perfect for hair that is thick and curly. It elongates the curl and keeps frizz down. I bought it on Amazon before for around $5 but they doubled the price so I am happy that Walmart carries it. Large jar worth the money for sure.

As with all natural products, some will work and some won't. I was looking for something to give me hold and define my curls and this was it! I was able to twist my hair and it looked so good that I left it twisted for a week. Then I pereformed the twist out and had GREAT defined curls for another week. I would have gone another week with my head band, but my scalp was itching and I decided to wash it. This product gives a strong hold! It is kind of hard at first (which is what I wanted) but over time the stiffness wears off and you are left we super definded curls!! This works for my type of hair which I believe is a 4C so I am super excited. I have other products that work great for twist outs, but they are too soft and don't hold well.
