The material is soft and seems gentle on a baby's skin. However, I have to be honest—I'm not sure who would really use a seasonal lovey. It's a very specific Halloween theme, so it feels a little "blah" for the rest of the year. It's cute for a photo op or a holiday-themed basket, but it's probably not going to be your child's go-to comfort item for more than a couple of months. It's a nice thought, but a lovey with a more universal design would get a lot more use.
