PediaSmart DAIRY Organic Nutritional Beverage (Vanilla)

My 18 month old daughter is a delayed in her eating due to some GI issues and relies on this for nutrition right now. She drinks it 4x per day and seems to really like it. She is growing great and it makes mom feel better too that she's getting organic ingredients in her formula. We are pleased!

We have been using this product for years to supplement our children's diet and have nothing but good things to say. The flavor is delicious to the kids and it mixes into water very well, making it easy and fast to prepare. Sometimes the kids prepare it themselves, which is a nice bonus! This powder has my highest recommendation for anyone who requires extra nutrients and/or calories for their children. Great product!!!

My daughter was born with a birth defect where the top and bottom of her esophagus were not connected. Though this has been corrected there are residual issues that lead to reflux and make it hard to swallow in general. Kids with this tend to eat like birds and my daughter is no exception. She is now 13 months old and we have been trying to figure out how to continue to add calories to her diet now that she's finally moved past pureed foods (that we were thickening with things like maple syrup and butter...) so she continues to gain weight. Her hemoglobin was also a little low at her 12 month appointment so the Dr suggested a toddler formula. She hated the PediaSure samples we got from the Dr's office. As soon as I opened them I noticed they smelled like candy and when I read the ingredients I was actually glad she didn't like it, SUGAR is the third ingredient! I don't want to give her all that sugar so I ordered the free sample of PediaSmart. She LOVES it. She drinks it so fast it's amazing. I'm thrilled that she's getting the nutrients and the additional calories. Her thighs are starting to get chubbier again and she's full of energy. As a mother and a healthcare practitioner of two healthy children, I looked all over to find an organic baby formula and toddler/child nutritional breakfast drink and during 2009, now 2017, I started using this company's products for a quick organic nutritional beverage. I recommend as they get older that they eat regular organic foods and may drink one beverage a day just for a quick nutritional shake.
