When the plastic hose to my 8 year old handheld shower head finally broke I went out and bought a new shower head. The water pressure was terrible despite the fact that I took out the piece that was supposed to regulate the water pressure. It also leaked. It was a pricy well known brand. I returned said product and bought this replacement hose, soaked my old shower head in vinegar and water to remove any mineral buildup, cleaned up all the threads and attached the new part. Now everything works good as new and I now have an all metal hose instead of the old plastic. If you like your old shower head but have a problem with the hose I would advise anyone to try this replacement hose. It is very good quality and fits perfectly into my old shower head holder. The reviews on many of the newer shower heads are terrible and I now known why.
