I Babysit my soon to be 4yr old grandaughter. We have 2 ATV rides of our own. she always enjoyed riding along with somebody on those. now she has her own. She caught on quickley and loves it!!! I am having major surgery soon and won't be able to do much with her for quite a while. This gives my husband a fun opportunity to ride, with her trailing along. this ride keeps her busy for hours!! We Love it!!!!!!!!! She has no problem riding on gravel or the grass. she learned the 1st and 2nd gear right away, for some reason she is still afraid to use the reverse gear, i'm sure she'll catch on when she has a chance to ride with her Papa!! I would strongly recommend this ride to anyone, it's fantastic. plus the price is great to. I would also like to mention that she did not have to learn to break, she just takes her foot off the petal and it stops right away!!! Great feature!!

My kids absolutely love it. (5 and 7 yrs old). I have larger than average kids and the weight requirements were certainly of interest compared to the other riding toys. (Goes up to 90 lbs, I believe). My girls are taller than their peers, and the pedal is short for my 7 yr old, but manageable none the less. Took a couple of hours for hubby to put both together. Seemed to take longer putting on all the stickers. Good value in my opinion. Initial battery charge took 18 hours, so be aware if you're giving as a present.

Most of the Ride ons I found were too small for my 6 1/2 year old. We live in the City and she rides it on the sidewalk along side busy streets while I walk the dogs. I wasn't comfortable enough until recently to purchase something like this for her because of the possible danger. Once she became old enough to steer and stop carefully, without wandering out into traffic, I discovered that she was too big for anything in the stores. I found this Polaris online and the weight capacity and leg room left her with a little room to grow. She's 25lbs. under the maximum weight and her legs are free. This one is perfect. The battery lasts a long time (130 minutes on the sidewalk) and it's pretty fast in 2nd gear for what it is. She has a blast on it!

Got this for my 5 yr old for her birthday-- she LOVES it! Walmart's shipping was super fast, assembly was relatively easy, and she's been using it every day since she got it. I bought an extra battery for it b/c they never last as long as they advertise that they do, but seeing the enjoyment that she gets from riding is worth it! Handles small hills, grass, dirt, and asphalt with no problems. She had to get used to the fact that she had to hold the gear shift in reverse in order to go in reverse (unlike other ride ons she's used), but she's an ace at it now!
