Peppa Pig Shopping Mall Playset

The peppa mall is a big hit as I expected. And it is great value because for the price, because it can be used for other toys, not just peppa figurines. I was super impressed by the Walmart . It was cheaper than Amazon and the item was in my house on the morning second day, and I got an email to inform me.

My daughter is 2.5 years old and loves all things Peppa Pig so we purchased this as a Christmas gift. She loves how the elevator works and the interactive features. However this play set is 3 pieces that are suppose to stay connected during play but they tend not to, which my daughter finds frustrating. This you would be so much better if it were in one piece. Another problem is that it is difficult to make the little figures stand on the pegs to do the interactive features. I won't be returning it but I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

This toy has all the features that Peppa Pig fans would love, but the execution is terrible! It is virtually impossible for small children to properly position the characters in any of the activities, including the elevator. It is also difficult for adults! If you even slightly move the play set - including just playing with it, all the sections fall apart. Playing with this toy is very frustrating for our toddler - who is now back to focusing on her Fisher Price Little People play sets, which are higher quality and much more sturdy. Buy this only if you want your kids to look at it on a shelf, not play with it!

This is a new play-set addition to the Peppa Pig line of play-set toys. First reaction of my kid was priceless. This is definitely a good addition to someone who is a Peppa Pig fan like my kid who is 3.5 years of age now. My kid plays with it everyday and kept it next to the Peppa Pig big house. This will surely be a great Christmas or a birthday gift to a girl child. I liked the overall design of the play set. I also liked the color combination which is standard Peppa Pig theme color and makes it realistic to the Peppa Pig show. I also like that there are buttons and several things that can be used in the pretend play. Pretend role play includes a moving elevator, rotating pizza, flipping dressing room, swing, rotating figure in shoe shop, slide and a flipping photo booth. Best is the moving elevator. The first question my daughter asked after I opened the package was where is George? Note that it came with just 2 figures - George figure is missing. It would have been great it the package came with more figures like George and few Peppa friends. Another recommendation would be to add some lights and sound - definitely a department that needs improvement. Giving one star less in the review for the above two reasons. Apart from these, its a great Peppa Pig toy to enjoy and add to the collection!

I debated between giving this 4 and 5 stars and decided on giving it 5 just because my daughters were super excited to play with it. I mean, they ripped it out of my hands before I could even get a good look at it. The toy, overall, was smaller than I expected, which is a GOOD thing because we live in a small rental house without nearly enough space for toys. It packs a ton of features into the space, though. I'm really happy it came with two figures so my girls could play together. Unfortunately, this means Peppa Pig and Suzie Sheep immediately got into an argument over what kind of pizza to order at the restaurant. Fortunately, they quickly moved on to the playground, where there was both a swing and slide for them to play on. The set also includes a toy store with a toy boat, a "bridge" that connect the two larger pieces where the figures can spin past the shoe store, a photo booth, a clothing store with dressing room, and an elevator. The packaging was a nightmare. It took a good 30 minutes to get the pieces out and put together (which wasn't helped by the fact that our kids wanted to play with it IMMEDIATELY.) Our Peppa must have had a manufacturing defect because she did not fit on any of the pegs, so, she kept falling over in the elevator and could not use the twirling bridge or the dressing room at all, which was a real downer the first couple days. Fortunately, my husband managed to dig out the holes in Peppa's feet with a screwdriver just enough that the pegs that hold the characters onto the set could fit. Also, the bridge does not stay connected to the other pieces particularly well, though we could probably glue it into placed. The elevator is super fun, and the one on our set works well, so far. The only thing is, it's hard to attach Peppa when the elevator is on the second or third floor, so it's much easier for the characters to go up than to go down. It would be nice to have some additional accessories to go with this set. I might try to sew some tiny outfits for Suzie and Peppa to try on in the store, for example. But, this is a cute toy. Shopping malls are less common than other types of playsets, and this one kept the interest of my six year old who has outgrown many of our other playsets, so that makes it a win in my book.
