Perdue Harvestland, Free Range, Fresh Chicken Breast Tenderloin Pieces, 0.8-1.7lb. Tray

Love that WalMart has this product. Do NOT love how the beautiful store in my neighborhood of $500K to $5M homes has virtually everything locked up. I will avoid shopping in person at this store as it is undignified. You could easily put airport-level security at the entry doors, unlock the shelf inventory and transition the roving bands of asset protection people to speed up access to products and checkout. Let them be merchants focused on customer service, not security police. You've gone too far away from Walton's original winning business model that included “stack it high” and “take the money”. No wonder your “shrink” percentage is increasing. You're sending your paying customers like myself to Amazon and Kroger. Soon, your only shoppers will be the thieves.

This product was on sale and is a staple I purchase frequently. I placed a delivery order and found out this item was no longer in stock. instead of substituting with similar deal, they picked out packages of chicken at twice the price. i was not happy. I would not have ordered extra packages if i knew they were going to do this to me. i thought similar item substitution included price as well.

I shop at Walmart at least 3-4 times weekly. Sometimes I do an online order; other times I go in person. I put an order in today at 6:48 am to be delivered by 10-12 pm. However received a message stating it would be a delay so I changed it to pick up which was allowed and I chose 3-4 pm time slot. Here it is almost 5 and they are still preparing my order. Needless to say, I cancelled bcuz this is totally unacceptable.

it's the only chicken tenders that I love to buy because they're always so tender and good. the only issue is if you're getting it by delivery from Walmart don't do it because they always send it with the code date of expiring that day or the next day. go inside the store and get it yourself! They seem to have a habit of throwing their almost expired meat off on the disabled people who require delivery service for food. I don't buy meat much through them through delivery because it's always that way. unfortunately I can't find this chicken in another store to get it delivery service from somewhere else. but I highly recommend it!

I ordered 5 trays of Perdue Harvestland Free Range Fresh Boneless Chicken Breasts, including breast tenderloins and chicken thighs (2–6 pieces per tray). Overall, the quality was just okay. Normally, when I buy this chicken in-store, it comes frozen, which is perfect because I can put it directly into the freezer. I expected the same with my online order. Unfortunately, all the trays arrived thawed, and one was leaking. Even more concerning, one of the chicken pieces looked gray instead of the usual soft pink color. That was very upsetting. I understand that items need to be gathered ahead of delivery, but thawing raw chicken—especially if it's done more than once—can increase the risk of foodborne illness due to bacterial growth. For context, it takes about 6.5 to 14 hours to thaw a 1.3 to 2.8 lb tray of raw chicken in the refrigerator. A cold-water bath takes 60 to 90 minutes, and the microwave takes 10 to 25 minutes—but that can affect the texture. Based on how thawed everything was, including my frozen meals, it seems like my order had been sitting out for several hours before delivery. This experience was disappointing, especially when it comes to handling raw meat. I hope Walmart can improve the handling and packaging process for fresh and frozen items in online orders.
