Very good, have to be fried not baked. I like them best with lawry's season salt, a slice of cheese and mustard.

Great Product! But never in the store! Have shopped in Walmarts in Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee and now Florida and never find them, even though you online info says you have them... get your stuff together!

I remember these things as a child from the 1960s, in the same box. We were poor and Mom bought them a lot. They were horrible. If you like ground up slop in a bunch of breading , you will like these. It really upsets me to go to a restaurant today and order a tenderloin sandwich and this is what you get.

I've never thought I'd review anything. Especially a food product! ...But I feel this needs to be done. Apparently, what I am eating is labeled: "Pete's Pride Pork Fritters". You get five of them in a box for $1.60 or so. I was amazed by the price. I thought "Cool! I can make 5 pork sandwhiches for under 2 bucks!" ...but let me tell you WHY they're under 2 bucks. It starts with my first impression of opening the box. Indeed there are 5 of them in there. 4 are neatly stacked in the box as you'd expect...but the very last one was crammed into the box! It was bent up and torn and just crammed in there. I don't know if every box comes like this, and usually I wouldn't complain about something like this, but I might as well point it out in this review while I'm at it. I threw them in the oven for about 12 minutes. It's only supposed to need to cook for about 8-10 minutes. They looked severely underdone. I put them in for a little longer and still, they weren't browning up or anything. I know it's not my oven's problem, my oven works just fine. The next, and most appalling thing to me, was when I took a bite. The bread all fell off. Clear off! What was left was about 1/2 or less the size of the original patty in meat. It looks like someone took a slice of ham (Say, from a ham sandwich.) and shoved it in a mass of cheap breading. I know this product is under 2.00 for 5 of them, but puh-lease. It should at least be edible. Taste edible, look appealing, not be crammed in the box... something DO NOT BUY THESE! You'd be better off with Ramen Noodles if you're looking for a cheap bite to eat. Seriously. -Michi
