PETMATE - DOSKOCIL MFG CO, INC PETMATE BUBBLER WATERER 1.5 GAL

I wish I didn't buy it. My dogs really don't care for it that much and I will eventually put it away forever. Initially, they were scared of it and it took some training to get them used to it. It blows soft bubbles on full power and it's very annoying to listen to that bubbling all night long. Sometimes the hose falls off because it's doesn't hold that well unless you clamp it. I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night and think I'm drowning. It has been weeks so far and I think my brain is finally starting to realize it's part of my life, and it's saying to me accept it. I wish and will buy a water fall instead, this I know they will enjoy. On a positive note; the container is very big and the water last a while. Maybe one day I'll give it to the kids and they can use it as a bubble making machine.

Although the one I ordered from Walmart was cracked and leaked. They refunded it and I did get another one from another company. It's a great fountain, no filters YEH!!! It is a little loud though, so if running water bothers you, this isn't the filter for you.

I really liked the idea of this product or I wouldn't have ordered it to begin with. The problem I had with it was that it would not stop filling the trough. At first I thought I assembled it wrong, then I thought maybe the cats were pawing at the water and throwing it out onto the floor. So I refilled it and put it up on the counter and about 30 minutes later I was cleaning water up from the countertop and floor. I don't know if it was just a bad unit or just poor workmanship, I just know it will be returned.

My oldest cat and my Cairn Terrier love it, but my youngest cat is still afraid of the bubbles. I like it but it was not really what I expected, I thought it was more like a fountain type, maybe one big bubble for them to drink from,instead its lots of mid sized bubbles, which is fine.

After reading reviews, I decided to try this Ultra Bubbler. I had previously used one of the fountain kinds and hated it because it was difficult to clean, had too many parts, and you had to buy filters to replace. This one is very different and in a good way. There are no extra useless pieces and my two cats started using it right away. It's really easy to clean and you don't have to do it too often. Also, the 1.5 gallon holder is great! It lasts my cats weeks. It's not loud either...it kind of sounds like a fish tank. I would definitely recommend this :)
