Pfister GT36-4CBS Avalon Kitchen Faucet with Side Spray, Stainless Steel

We have had this for over ten years and it still works and looks like new with only the minimum of cleaning and maintenance. In fact the sink we put in with it is wearing out but the faucet is like brand new! We are seventy-six year olds and have been around the block with faucets - this is the best and we can recommend the brand. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The Avalon is a beautiful faucet. However, when running very hot water it will begin to whine quite loudly. If I turn on the cold a bit to lessen the heat of the water flowing through, the whine goes away. Also, if the faucet is hot and I turn the water off and then on again, it will stutter, sometimes for several seconds, before returning to a steady flow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was one of our first changes in our home. I absolutely love it! It has an old fashion look but fresh and new. I will not have to change the look for a long time. It's classic! Also, my husband installed it with no problems!

The large upward sweeping spout allows me to get large items in the sink. The valves and sprayer head are beautifully finished and work smoothly. Only gave it four starts as I believe the sprayer hose could be a little longer and the sprayer holder could be a little more robust. When installing in a thin sink such as stainless steel, cut off of the bottom of the sprayer holder. If it is left to long, when the hose is pulled out it pulls the sprayer holder to the side and it breaks after time. Pfister will send a free replacement but is better if it does not break at all. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought about a year ago. I like the two handles as my wife doesn't check to see if the unit is on cold or hot when she turns on the faucet. She'll get a glass of water thinking it's cold and is surprised when it's hot.
