Philips Avent SCF619/05 Breast milk storage cups (5x 6oz)

These were perfect for me, no spills and easy to use. Only downfall is the writing on the bottles are clear so it was hard to see exactly how much milk was in them. And there isnt a cooler bag made specifically for these so it was hard to pick a cooler bag out.

Agreed to test these out in exchange to review them and I am very happy I did. These cups are so much more convenient than the bags we were using before. Many times when I tried to pour milk from a bag into a new bottle I would spill some, however anytime I poured out of these cups into a bottle it was seamless. I am very happy that we have these.

I received a free sample of this product in exchange for my honest review. Overall, I`d say this is a great product. I really like that these containers can be used for everything from pumping into them, storing, and all the way to feeding with them. For me, I hate wasting even a drop of breastmilk so it`s nice that I don`t have to transfer containers to freeze and thaw (and subsequently lose a tiny bit of milk). These containers also have a space where you can write the date that you stored it which is a great concept but I had some difficulty with it. The instructions say that you can write in pen or pencil but I found that pencil was very light and hard to read. Whether I used pen or pencil, scratch marks were left behind when I washed the markings off which makes it a little confusing to read if you use pencil next time. The only other thing I will mention is that you need to either boil these for 5 minutes or use a sanitizer before the first use. After boiling, my pot and the containers had a powdery residue on them that I was able to get rid of by handwashing but not by placing on the top rack of the dishwasher. It`s probably nothing harmful but still not anything I`d want in my milk.

The person who wrote this review received a free sample for providing an open and honest review of the product. The storage cups are good quality (not flimsy) and wash well. They stack nicely for storage - both when in use and not in use. The only downside is the cost for those with `large storage needs` and the amount of room needed to store the cups. Bonus: the cups can be used as bottles (and therefore put in the dishwasher and bottle warmer!)

I received this product in exchange for a review. These storage cups work well to store breastmilk, although I have been used to storing milk in bags for the freezer. I prefer to use bags because they save more space in my freezer. The storage cups do work great for freshly pumped milk that I am just putting in the refrigerator, however. It was also very useful when using these cups in conjunction with the Philips' brand breast pump, since the cups attach right to the pump. I may actually use these storage cups more for homemade baby food or to store snacks for my toddler.
