Philips AVENT Anti-Colic Medium Flow Nipple for Avent Anti-Colic Baby Bottles, 3 Months+, BPA-Free, 2 pack

I received this product from the weeSpring Parent Panel. My babe is not too picky when it comes to bottles, but she definitely loved this one right away! She seemed to like the different flows as we started with the newborn and moved to the medium flow (3 month+). I did notice a difference with the different flow rates between the newborn and 3 month+. She was definitely ready for the faster flow after the first few weeks and ate much easier with less fussing/forcing with the medium flow nipple. I noticed that she didn't choke on this the way she does with some normal flow rate bottles. I also noticed that she had no or less gas than with other bottles. Sometimes with bottles she doesn't sleep as long because she wakes with gas. With this nipple, she didn't have this problem and slept consistent 6-7 hour stretches after eating! Overall, both my baby and I really liked this nipple and she is well fed and sleeping sound!

I have a 5 month old baby boy that is half breast half bottle fed. I have been using a different bottle brand with a medium flow nipple when I prepare bottles. I had not seen the Philips Avent Anti-colic baby bottle until I received the product through the weespring Parent Panel in exchange for my review. My baby was not excited to use the bottle, but he never really is when I give him bottles. I found out that the Philips Avent Anti-colic baby bottle is what my mother in law uses when she watches my son. She says that he does really well on the slow flow nipple. We tried the medium flow nipple and it was a little fast for him. He would take a sip and choke a little before trying again. It is nice to have options of different flow levels, when he is a little older we will likely try the medium flow again. I think that these nipples/bottles help with the gas and colic. My baby seems calmer and happier. He isn't tooting or spitting up as much.

Recently tried out the Phillips Avent Anti-colic baby bottle and it's pretty great. We have a 7mo old baby and she did well with the medium flow. She also did well with the nipple shape (which is awesome since we have tried other bottles in the past which did not take as well). We wanted to try out these bottles since she occasionally gets fussy due to gassiness. This bottle is easier to clean than some of the other anti-colic bottles out there on the market. It's hard to say if these bottles prevented her from getting gassy, but they certainly didn't make it worse, which is a plus. It's definitely helpful that there are a variety of nipple choices available to ensure baby is feeding with the appropriate flow rate (don't want a hangry baby on our hands!). Overall I recommend this bottle if your child has colic/gas/reflux. Since it is offered at a reasonable price point, it doesn't hurt to try it if you're looking for a bottle that reduces gassiness. I received the Philips Avent Anti-Colic baby bottle medium flow 4 pack courtesy of the weeSpring Parent Panel for my honest feedback. As a nursing mom, I like to ensure that the flow of milk for my son when bottle feeding is a comfortable and consistent rate to avoid reflex and/or gas symptoms. Also, depending on how attentive my son is while feeding, having a choice in rate of flow is desirable. For these reasons, the choices available to me with the Avent products is extremely important to me! During our trial with the product, my son transitioned seamlessly to these nipples and also helped to alleviate any discomfort symptoms following a feeding. A fussy baby is no parent's dream, so this was a wonderful plus to end a feeding with a content baby. I also found the nipples to be durable, even with my son's time to time biting now that he has a few teeth. I would highly suggest these nipples to any parent looking for variety and to alleviate side effects following feedings.

Lifesaver! My 11-month-old went on a nursing strike a few days after these came in the mail (it's like she knew we were planning on weaning this month and was like, joke's on you, I'm going cold turkey). That said, my pump and I have been BFFs and she's been all about bottles. I suspect she might be teething too, so I wondered if she'd take kindly to a new brand. It's been a bit since we've used our Avent bottles simply because she'd outgrown the slow-flow nipples we have on hand. Enter a package with the Philips Avent Anti-colic baby bottle MEDIUM FLOW nipples (thank you weeSpring Parent Panel) and, as evidenced by the pictures (#2 in particular), she is a FAN! And honestly, I am too. She's at that age where babies are all about experimenting with independence, which means she likes to be in charge of feeding time. And that means mom has to sit back and watch her hold her bottle all wrong (i.e. so much air!). There must be something to Avent's anti-colic technology because despite her wild feedings, she's had zero tummy trouble. I really love the feel of these too. The silicone is solid but pliable and feels like it will withstand all sorts of trauma from the bite of this teething babe. Lastly, the spot in the first pic is 100% baby drool. Their leak-proof claims (so far) are proving true. She threw her bottle at least 5 times during this feeding, held it upside down, dropped it on the ground. No leaks! I'm impressed and while I do hope this nursing strike ends, I am more than happy to be using these full time in the interim.
