Philips Avent Anti-colic Baby Bottle Newborn Flow Nipple, 4pk, SCF421/47

I am grateful to have received the Philips Avent Anti-colic baby bottle and Newborn Flow nipple. My sweet 3-month-old baby boy is an absolute angel, but so far hasn't been loving any bottles we have tried previously. I return to work in a few months, so I have been trying many different bottles, hoping he will find one that he likes. It has been helpful to have a variety of nipple choices with different styles and flow rates. His older sister suffered from reflux as an infant, so I jumped straight to the anti-colic bottles this time around. He still very much prefers the breast over bottles, but he tolerated this nipple/bottle combination better than some others we have tried. I like that it has a few less parts to clean than other anti-colic bottles we've used as well. One drawback was that this bottle needs to be held in a specific position in order for it to vent properly. That issue would not prevent me from using the bottle, but it's just one more thing to think about when you're trying to feed a hungry baby. We received the Philips Anti colic bottle and nipple as a part of the weespring parent panel to test and review. We typically use glass bottles as I have yet to find a plastic one that both baby and we like. Little baby girl took to the bottle right away and had no problem drinking from it. I liked that it came apart easily and was easy to clean. Compared to other anti colic bottles we have tried, this one is definitely our favorite. I would definitely recommend this bottle to other parents who need an anti colic nipple. However, we still prefer the glass over plastic bottles. If this was offered in a glass version, we would probably completely switch over to it!

I was so glad to be able to try the Avent bottles and nipples, as my baby has been pretty picky about what works for him. So glad to say that I got to try this nipple set for free from the weeSpring Parent Panel, and everything went smoothly. I tried both size 1 and size 2 nipples and both worked well, but the size 2 was just slightly too fast for my little guy but still worked great. We like the insert that keeps the nipple full, because at 6 months my little guy likes to sit up more while eating. Everything is easy to clean and I haven't had any leaking issues. I enjoyed hearing the bubbles coming into the bottle with the anti-colic feature--which worked great!

I received these Philips Avent Anti-colic Bottle Newborn Flow nipples as a member of the weeSpring Parent Panel. My 7 week old daughter is exclusively breastfed, and just started taking a bottle. We tried this slower flow nipple and while the flow is easy for her to control, the shape of the nipple is a little awkward in my opinion. Baby has some trouble latching onto the base but perhaps that will improve as she takes a bottle more often. I do think the anti-colic design works well as she does not seem gassier than when she nurses. The nipples are easy to clean and assemble with the bottle. Overall, these nipples and the anti-colic bottle system seem good and may just take some time for my newborn to adjust latching to.

I received this product free from the weespring parent panel. This product arrived right on time for my first week introducing a bottle to my exclusively breastfed baby. The bottle, nipples and the anti-colic flowvent are really nice quality, extremely easy to use, put together and clean. Personally I find this anti colic vent more effective and much more preferable to other styles. I only gave this product 3 stars because to be perfectly honest my son didn't like it! Which at the end of the day, means I wouldn't purchase it and likely will not use it often.
