Philips Avent Anti-colic Baby Bottle with Air Free Vent Newborn Gift Set, Clear, Exclusively At Walmart, SCD306/12

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The kit Philips Avent Anticolique is perfect to start and avoid colic, reflux and gas issues. Despite my baby haven't had any colic and reflux issues, he did have gas issues and I found this bottle helpful; the air free vent locks milk in the nipple so it doesn't allow much air ingestion. Also I noticed I didn't have to sooth my baby so much/so long which it was great. On the other hand this bottles can be use with or without the air-free vent and it wont leak so it gives another choice to use them. Also I liked the set came with a brush for bottles and a pacifier, different size of nipples and 2 size of bottles (4oz and 9oz) Besides I noticed the latch wasn't hard, I was concerned cause I used another type of bottles with other nipples that are wider and he didn't have any trouble (the nipples are not too narrow) Finally, I give this set a 4 stars cause I found the air-free vent a little bit tricky to take off of the bottle, otherwise I really liked this set! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips Avent Anti-colic Baby Bottle With AirFree Vent Newborn Gift Set is truly a help for life with a new baby! My little one is 3 months old and combo fed, breast and bottle. She has used both sizes of bottles and has had no issues latching on the nipple sizes 2 and 3. The new airfree vent is easy to clean and use. Note to users not to open the cap upside down or on its side, it does leak from under the lid and on the nipple. If you use it properly, this won't be an issue. It doesn't seem like my baby is more or less gassy than using other bottles. For parents who have used the traditional style and nipples of Philips Avent baby bottles, it's worth noting that the bottles and lids appear the same size, but the threading is different, so they are not interchangeable. The brush included has strong bristles perfect for cleaning dried milk residue. Overall, a great set with everything needed for bottle feeding for you or to give as a gift! The nipple mimics how the flow from the breast would be. It's easy to use, aesthetic and it definitely works against colic with the suction on the side which is the air free vent. It truly takes air out of the nipple. I love how it functions with that and sets it aside from the other bottles currently available on the market.

He took them no problem, to my relief. They are so easy to put together/take apart and they are dishwasher safe, which is so nice for a busy mom. This set also came with a bottle brush, pacifier, and the nipples are two different sizes to use as your baby grows. I have a 2.5 month old and he has been using the size 2 nipple. My baby has been a little gassy so I really love the anticolic part of this bottle. It seems to have worked well for him. I know every baby is different and they all like different bottles, but I would say that these bottles are definitely worth a try!

I like that there were two different size bottles, so that once baby graduates to the higher ounces, you are ready to go. The cleaning brush, extra nipples, and pacifier were great additions to the set. The bottle was easy to take apart & put back together after cleaning. It took my daughter a few tries to get the hang of drinking out of this bottle, but once she mastered it, it worked very well. She had a little bit more spit up than normal after the first use, but didn't have much gas.
