Philips Avent Classic Pacifier, 6-18 Months, Blue/Green Anchor and Snuggle, 2 Pack, SCF197/06

The AVENT pacifiers are the only ones my little one would take to when he was born. Over a year later, they’re still his favorite! I love the ring that allows you to hook baby’s favorite pacifier lovey on. The clip on cap is also great for keeping it clean. Highly recommend!

Our daughter is a fan of this pacifier. She is 13 months and this is the third pacifier we've tried. The snap on cap is a game changer! It stays on securely and keeps it clean when we're on the go. The symmetrical, orthodontic nipple shape is appreciated as she has many teeth coming in. The blue/green neutral colors are also a win for us, as we try to keep everything of our daughters gender neutral. Washing these are breeze as we prefer to just toss them in the dishwasher basket. The only con to this pacifier is that there was moisture left in the nipple after washing. The plastic base didn't fit our daughters face the best, leaving marks on her face. So overall, its a nice option for our daughter, especially for travel. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing this and letting us explore other pacifier options!

I am a mother of two boys under 4. They both took pacifiers. I tried multiple brands with my first son and found that some held water. This was a concern of mine when I received these but have come to find out they do not hold water. I love pacifiers and these go on my list of favorites! They help my boys sleep and are great for soothing in the car or when they are with someone new. I was so excited to receive this product complementary from weeSpring Parent Panel. I was skeptical about this pacifier because it looks like water could get inside. After trying this pacifier for about a week I believe that it is well built. I like the nipple shape and design because it is created to be close to nursing. It isn’t too big that it will cause damage to the teeth unlike other pacifiers I have tried with my boys. I tried this pacifier with my 1 year old and he liked it. It did take him awhile to get used to it because it has a different nipple than what he is used to using. He does love the patterns on the pacifier and that it has a handle he can hold. I am concerned that if the pacifier is used for awhile that the design will rub off. The only way I will know is with time. He didn’t like that he couldn’t get it out of the cap. I personally like the cap for that reason because I don’t want him to be using it all the time. Now that he is older I prefer to only use it for nap time. The cap also helps when taking the pacifier places. All the pacifiers I have had before this would get dirt or lint from my purse. The cap is an awesome add on. I have a bottle warmer that I can use to clean my pacifier but because I don’t use bottles anymore I don’t use that. I like to run the pacifiers under warm water with soap to clean them. This pacifier did great with with this method. I love this pacifier and so does my son. I plan on trying this brand/type of pacifier with my newborn in the summer.

My 15 month old son has never been a pacifier baby, he’s always been your classic thumb sucker. We started him on a paci as early as 2 weeks old but he has only taken them for a short period of time. Over the last year we have tried many different brands and types. Nothing was a hit until receiving and trying the Philips Avent Classic Pacifier, 6-18 months. We had the blue/green anchor and snuggle, 2 pack! This particular brand and shape was a game changer! My 15 month old who has barely taken a paci for longer than 30 minutes was now walking around content for hours with this pacifier in his mouth. I honestly couldn’t believe my eyes. These particular pacifiers have so many different traits that I love about them. When i am sterilizing any type of pacifier or bottle, i will typically boil then in a large pot of water on the stove and then put all of the parts together. These pacifiers worked perfect with that method and after about 5 minutes of boiling and cooling, they were ready to use. The best thing from a moms point of view that stuck out instantly to me is the packaging. Out of the numerous amounts of different pacifiers I have bought to try, not one has ever come with a reusable snap on hygiene cap. This sold me the minute I opened the packaging. I tend to throw his pacifiers into his diaper bag and they get dirty because of this. I would constantly have to buy the sterilizer wipes and wipe them down before every use. With these snap on caps, I will never have to do that again!! Right after we are finished using, we can snap on the hygiene cap, throw in my bag, and go on about my day. These caps are very secured, so you won’t have to worry about them popping off. If that doesn’t sell you enough, the other thing I loved about this product was the air vent cutouts on each side of the nipple. This really helped with no pacifier ring indention around his mouth. I believe that these cut out vents also helped with my son ability to keep it in his mouth easier than some of the other pacifiers we have tried that have no cutouts in the plastic base. They also have a ring attached to the front so you can easily attach a pacifier clip through the loop. Another thing that stuck out to me with this product was the nipple shape and size. These particular ones are made for the age 6-18 months. It had the perfect nipple size for his mouth, and didn’t seem to be too big or too small. The nipple is made with a soft silicone that is not stiff and can move easily to mold to your baby’s mouth. All in all, I am extremely happy with this product! My son loves them and I finally found a pacifier that calms him down and he easily takes. I highly recommend this brand and wish i would have had this brand type when my son was at his infant stage. I received these pacifiers as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. I've only had these pacifiers a couple of days (I think they got lost in the mail...), but my daughter has used them a few times. She primarily uses a pacifier when falling asleep for naps and at night rather than throughout the day. However, she did grab this one during the day and would pop it in her mouth. They are easy to clean and transport (with the cap). She has a preference for a different shaped nipple (I think it all depends what they had when they were very young / at the hospital), but she didn't dislike this one. I like that they're good for her mouth full of newly-emerged teeth. Plus the patterns are super cute!
