Philips Avent Comfort Double Electric Breast Pump With Feeding Accessories

I was given this breast pump to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. It was effective in expressing breast milk for me, but I was not able to enjoy using it due to the less-than-user-friendly design. The parts were clunkier, harder to put together and didn't feel as nice / gentle on my skin as the other pump that I use. I'm of course very grateful for the trial of the pump but due to the experience and the less-than-usual milk expressed, I would not recommend this pump.

I received this product from the weeSpring Parent Panel. There were so many things I loved about the pump design. It is compact and easy to bring to work. It is easy to clean with relatively few parts. It is designed for comfort. I loved the soft phalanges and the fact that they are angled. However, the parts are kind of shallow, and I had difficulty lining up the phalanges. I also had a hard time finding a comfortable setting, as I felt it was less customizable than other pumps I have used. I think it'd work great for many women, but just wasn't the best fit for me and my body.

I'm so glad that the weeSpring parent panel chose me to get this Philips Avent Double Electric Breast Pump + Bonus Power Cushion. It was so easy to set up and the bag is super cute and sleek. Its black and inside is lavendar. I used the cushion pads for the pump but it just didnt fit right. So I took them out. What a difference, made it much more comfortable. I loved how you could customize the settings and go as slow as you want or a faster pump. It was really easy to clean and I loved the bottles it came with perfect 4 oz size and it fits perfect with the nipples I had. I would definitely recommend this brand to anybody. When I took it to work it's not bulky at all and doesnt look like you are carrying a pump around. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

As a mom of a newborn and as a WeeSpring Parent Panelist i found this pump to be a top favorite, ive used medela in the past but the Philips Avent was quite different, it's got a nice, quiet pump with strong suction and consistency. It's not going as bulky and loud as my other hospital provided pump. This pump is very compact I found it easier to wash/sterilize. The Philips pump is perfect for those looking to pump quickly, which is great for convenience, and i found myself cutting my pump sessions in half. The natural bottles came in handy for on the go traveling, running errands and i felt no-guilt since they are glass. I choose glass over plastic anyday. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Philips double pump, honestly works for me continuously. Also, may seem small but i really appreciated the light let off of the power button, it was subtle but really needed for the late night pump sessions. my only con is the hands-free. there is none- so i had to devote both my hands to hold the pump properly. So at night i had to make sure i never fell asleep holding the pumps. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Thank you to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this pump. I was very excited to receive this because my daughter already used the Phillips Advent natural bottles and I had the hand pump and had great success with it. I was not at happy with this pump though. It took me longer to express milk and I also did not get as much as I do from my other double electric pump. I wish I was better able to customize the setting on the pump. The pump was not too difficult to clean but also was not as easy to clean as my other pump. It was very easy to set up, especially since I had experience with the brand's hand pump. I love the Natural Bottles as those are the bottle my baby already used. She does really well with them and can hold them on her own (has been since about 5 or 6 months). The bottle are very easy to clean as well.
