Philips Avent My Grippy Spout Sippy Cup with Soft Spout and Leak-Proof Design, Pink/Purple, 10oz, 2pk, SCF801/22

I have two of these sippy cups and within one year I've had to buy 5 replacement nipples because they tear very very easily. And not from my kid chewing on them, but from washing them by hand. It feels like, during manufacture, they just cut a slit in the silicone nipple, which then is easily torn if you touch it while I'm washing them.

If you have a toddler you know they leave their sippy cups every which way they like. So if yours is like mines their sippy cups occasionally end up upside down and you would think since this one is advertised as leak proof that it wouldn't matter but NO. On the first day of purchasing I gave a cup full of juice to my daughter which she left on our couch flipped over and of course it leaked out slowly and left a juice stain. Very frustrating that you cannot trust what is being advertised on these items. Will not be buying again. Very disappointed and dissatisfied.

In total we've purchased 12 of these (6 sets) and they are one of the few sippy cups my incredibly picky and sensitive toddler will use. However, during cleaning and through use the slit in the spouts splits and breaks making these no longer spill proof. And the worst part? There are no replacement spouts to purchase anywhere so you have to buy a whole new set. Each spout probably lasts 2 months max. So although I love the look, feel and ease of cleaning, had to take away a star for spending so much on replacement complete sets.
