Philips Avent Natural Response Nipple, Slow Flow (Flow 2), 4-Pack, SCY962/04

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this item as part of a Stellar Product Testing Panel. Prior to receiving these I had been using nanobebe bottles for both of my kids. I didn't know what I was missing! The no drip tip is a game changer. It allows the baby to have complete control over the feed with no mess! I find myself a lot less worried about over-feeding and noticed less spit up. The pace of the flow was perfect for my newborn.

This helped my baby set her own pace by not constantly dripping milk into her mouth forcing her to drink. If mimicked the breastfeeding process easily and she could latch the bottle very well. We have problems with her getting too much air from bottles causing gas bubbles later on but she didn't get that with these! The flow seemed to be perfect for her right now and we will upgrade as she can take on better flows. It was very easy to clean but just make sure you get under the nipple head really well! The nipple design mimics the natural shape and feel of the breast, which made the transition between breastfeeding and bottle-feeding much smoother for my baby. I appreciate how the flow only releases milk when baby actively drinks, just like breastfeeding — no spills or drips when paused. The soft, flexible material feels high quality and gentle on my baby's mouth. Cleaning is also a breeze, and they fit perfectly with my existing Avent bottles. Overall, this nipple set has been a great addition to our feeding routine, and I'd definitely recommend it to any breastfeeding or combo-feeding parent

I had to use the slower flow compare to what is recommended for my baby's age as more spit ups was experienced with this. Maybe I'll try again in a month or so to see if baby will react differently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this nipple set to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I used it for my two month old exclusively bottle fed baby. I was excited to try a new nipple because my baby had been struggling with the ones we had been using previously, he was squeaking while he drank and looked like he couldn't catch his breath. His feedings were very much improved with these new nipples! The flow seems perfect for him and he is drinking his bottles so calmly. He doesn't look gassy or uncomfortable at all. I found them fairly easy to clean, as with any nipples you need hot water and good soap to really remove the formula residue but I haven't had any cleaning issues. I highly recommend these nipples.
