Philips Avent Ultra Soft Pacifier, 6-18 Months, Blue/Teal, 4 Pack, SCF212/42

I was very happy when I first tried these pacifiers. After the 0-3 month soothie, I was having a hard time finding a pacifier my son would take until this one. He actually loved this one. My only issue is that when I went to sterilize it I realized that water was getting trapped in the nipple after sterilizing and after my son was using it, which is a concern due to possible mold/bacteria growth. I even went and bought another pack just in case the first ones I bought were defective, but they did the same thing.

I received this pacifier from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. After weeks of trying the Philips Avent Ultra Soft Pacifier, I feel as if it is not a good fit for my 6 week old. Cons: -The nipple isn't shaped in a comfortable way because my baby struggles to start sucking on it. It also seems as if my baby has a hard time keeping it in his mouth. It slips out often. -The packaging states that the pacifier is for ages 0-6 months but it seems too large for a newborn (it may work better for older babies) -The inside of the nipple has water build up, even after a dry cycle in a sanitizer. The only way to get it out is to vigorously shake the pacifier. Pros: -It has a flat profile which is great for babies since their lack of arm and hand control knocks the pacifier out easily. The handle also hangs down instead of sticking out -Nice, neutral colors -A sanitizing case is provided. It also comes with easy directions embedded on the bottom for convenience -BPA free -Does not leave marks on face, as advertised

I was gifted the Princess and the Swan Pacifier's from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I was so glad to receive these items.This product is very well constructed. It has a protective shield around the pacifier to keep your baby from getting any skin irritations. This product comes with a carrying case to carry the Pacifier's in. The protective case keeps the items from getting any germ's. This ensures safety for my little one.Although, it has a carrying case; I like to deep clean my child's pacifier with a mild dish soap. This product is awesome. I definitely will recommend.

I have 3 kids age 2 and under and one who is OBSESSED with pacifiers. Gotta have at least one on him at all times. We have used everything. When they were little we loved the Avent Soothies and didn't buy anything else. My first impression of the Avent Ultra Soft was pretty standard. I like that it came with a case. Like the designs. After actually reading the packaging I liked them even more. It's not just a carrying case, its a sterilizer case! I haven't had a pacifier come with its own steam sterilizer, we usually just put them in one of the steam microwave bags for bottles and stuff. The water line was marked well and easy to read, no having to get another measuring cup to measure water. The Pacifiers were really easy to clean and easy to get residual water out of the nipples. I loved the soft flexible shields knowing they weren't going to crack and break like other brands. My son once had his face cut from a cracked pacifier and we refuse to buy that brand anymore. These are well made. We did receive the product at no cost through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but will be buying more for sure!!!
