Philips Magnavox 15MF227B - 15" Diagonal Class LCD TV 1024 x 768

I bought this TV to put in front of my treadmill. I wanted a HD TV for under $350. This one is perfect for under $300. I added speakers to improve the sound which was OK, but I wanted more volume. The TV cable picture and the pictures from my attached DVD and VCR players are all good.

I ordered two of these magnavox hdtv's for my home, they were purchased for my own bedroom and my daughters...we were both so satisfied, that when my married daughter moved to a new condo i purchased a third one for her and her husband as a housewarming gift!! They too are impressed with the picture quality, and look of this tv. The price was perfect too!!

This product is the perfect size for kitchens, childrens rooms or any other small spaces. The picture quality even with a basic antenna is great. This was the first time I used Walmart online and it was great especially not having to pay shipping charges with your site to store option.

Great picture, reasonable sound, user-friendly remote. The only thing I hate, hate, hate, is the display which shows up, with e-v-e-r-y single channel change. Sometimes, you just want to see the actual picture, immediately...but, nooooo, you have to wait for the tv to tell you all the info you don't need. Oh, there is one more thing: The channel number display is teensie-tiny, and a greyish-white. But, overall, and for the money? It's fine.

This is my first flat screen, hd, digital, tv (so I have nothing comparable to.) My last was a 13 inch phillips analog projection tube tv. I like this new tv better in almost every catagory, except it doesn't pull in as many stations. It pulls in two NBC & Pax but not CBS. Having said that, the picture & sound are much better. I have had Magnavox before and appreciate their quality. The DVD's played on the set are fantastic. As for CBS, I am getttingf a new anttenna, maybe that will help (CBS was always an iffy station to try and recieve and I think the poor signal is what the new set balks at - although the "weak signal didn't help)..
