[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The replacement heads are very sharp and give a smooth shave.
It's the worst securing system from all shavers I had. Difficult to close, and it breaks easily, i.e. the notches on the red retainer rig are tiny and break off. Worst, when ordering new shaver heads (because thy do not last long either), these retainer rings are not included.
Ordered these for my razor, but when I placed them in the razor they wouldn't shave my face. After reviewing the situation, I came to find out that replacement heads aren't all equal. The razor blades that connect to the posts that make the blades rotate have different attachments and go with different models, so it turns out that they aren't universal, of which I wasn't aware of. Now I can't return because of the return policy that you have to have original packing etc. to do so. Not knowing that they wouldn't work, I had disposed of the packing etc., so am not pleased with the result. Although there isn't anything wrong with the blades they didn't work with my model. Unfortunately, a costly mistake of which there seems to be no recourse of sending them back.
Receiving one replacement head in a smashed box inside a padded envelope was a disappointment. I thought I had ordered a packet of three replacement heads. I was able to return the one head to the local store. Then I bought a new shaver, but I was disappointed to find that there is no charging base. Oh well, we live and learn.
My Dad has an old Norelco razor that still works but the blades were worn out. I searched the web looking for the right blades and wasn't sure which ones would work. I appreciated the amount of info on this website which made me pretty confident that these were the right size. And indeed they are! Super easy to install. Worth the money in this case. I ordered online and picked up in the store. Very easy. I knew that I could return if needed which was another factor in why I bought these.
