Pickleball Fanatic Duffel Bag (Green/Black)

I read the reviews and they are correct about it being a large bag...but that's better than a small bag in my opinion! So far its working great. I've been putting balls in the shoe compartment and that keeps them out of my other stuff. The little pockets are great on the outside. The only thing that would make this bag spectacular for me would be some sort or separation or an inside pocket because i keep gloves and tape and an extra shirt in my bag and it gets kind of lost in the bag at the bottom.

Good price and plenty of space for everything - that's the good news. One thing I wish were better is if the outside pocket had 2 zippers that met in the middle instead of just one that went all around. If storing valuables in there it is just too risky for something to fall out with the style of zipper included.

As the weather cooled, I found that my sling bag was not big enough to hold jackets and additional layers of clothing needed. I wanted an alternative to the pricey “name” brand backpacks or duffle bags. This Pickleball Fanatic bag fit the bill splendidly. It is extremely roomy. I am easily able to fit a medium weight jacket and sweats along with 3 paddles and all of my other gear. The only drawbacks are the overwhelming chemical smell when you first open the package. I had to air the bag out for a week before I could use it. The small pocket on the front doesn’t have a double zipper so you have to be extremely careful about zipping it all the way if you don’t want small items falling out.

This is a very sturdy and practical bag. I love the shoe section and the other outside pockets. It is very roomy and is more than enough space for my needs. I gave it four stars because it is actually bigger than I expected. I am pretty small so it is a bit too large for me. But I would think it would be perfect for most men and women.

It's OK, and I'm not returning it. But it is pretty minimal and cheap. The water-bottle pocket is kind of shallow and your bottle could fall out easily if the bottle is tall or the bag gets in the wrong position. The outside pocket is fairly small. There is not a pocket big enough for your paddle; well, maybe the bottom pocket would work -- but it's where I plan to put my shoes (barely big enough for those). Most of all, the cheap plasticky smell was so overwhelming that I had to put it outside to air-out; i even seems like a health hazard. 6/19/18 PICKLEBALLCENTRAL RESPONSE: Thank you for your review of the Fanatic Duffle bag.
