I've never owned a meat thermometer before, but this one is incredible. It's so easy to use. I flip open the nib and it automatically turns on. I've been meal prepping a lot lately and I've been able to quickly open the oven, stick the nib in a small portion of meat and within seconds get a reading before I lose oven heat. I was always wary of meat thermometers, but this one sold me.
