I saw this being demonstrated on CNN before the holidays and thought it would be a cute gift for my 4yr old grandson. It looks OK, the concept is good, but doesn't interest the grandchild at all. The helmet hurts his head and while he is "sort of" entertained by the microphone and speaker, it's not enough to keep him engaged for more than a minute. Actually, his favorite part was watching me wear the helmet and "demonstrate"... Wouldn't recommend.

My 4 year old son loves this toy, especially the built-in microphone. The only trouble that we had was with the helmet fitting his head. There is a chin strap, but we were unable to use it due to the helmet not fitting properly. He still plays with the toy, but it falls off easily.

Okay, this toy is pretty fun, however it would be MUCH better if it fit properly. My almost 4 yr. old has an average sized head, I think, and the chin straps are too short to use. Therefore, he must try and balance the helmet on head. This is not an easy feat for the policeman chasing robbers! His Mommom got him this for christmas and is a little disappointed that he can't enjoy it fully. I went out and got some extra velcro to add to the straps. Hopefully that will solve the problem. Either way, I am not returning it because I do think it has potential for some very imaginative play.

They will love this. My husband couldn't believe I picked these up...he really thought they were the "cheesiest"...until he saw the boys' eyes light up & how they didn't want to take them off. They have played with them faithfully every day...and the fact that they have microphones...well, that is just the greatest part for them. Money well spent for our family. That said, I don't know your children and their likes and dislikes.

This is an awesome toy! At first I was thinking "Oh, NO!" because the microphone didn't seem to work, OR the handlebars. I've read so many of the reviews with the same complaints. Well, when all else fails, read the directions! (LOL) We bought our 3 year old son the motorbike cop one as a Christmas gift. To make the helmet work, you have to flip the switch on the back from "Demo" to "On", and press the orange button on the front of the helmet. As for the microphone, it only works while you press the orange button on the handlebars. The handlebars must be held in play position to work. It might sound difficult but it isn't! We payed about $35 and I guess it DOES seem just a little high, but it's worth it; plus, it promotes good health, imagination and excercise. Just read the directions-- DON'T GIVE UP ON THIS TOY!
