This cup is super adorable with bright colors with my kids love! Even my 6 year old loves using this cup as well as my 1 year old! A little difficult to clean/disassemble, and more parts than i care to keep up with. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 1 year old always carries a sippy cup around with her. The problem we were having was that she would put it down, it would fall over, and spill onto the ground. With the Playtex Sipsters Stage 3 Straw cup, we don't have that issue. First off, the straw has a seal so it doesn't leak very much, only if you turn it upside down and shake it. Even with that, it has a sliding closure that closes the cup up with the straw inside, and even turned upside down, it doesn't leak when it is closed. This not only stops leaks, but keeps the straw in dirty. I also like how it is more like a big kid cup with a straw than a baby cup with a spout. My daughter has throw the cup a few times and it still looks brand new. We have also washed it in the dishwasher and it looks great and comes out clean. The only issue we had in the beginning was that the closure part was hard to close all the way, so the straw stuck out just a little. After about three times opening and closing it, it worked fine, so it just needed to be broken in a little. I would recommend these cups because they are great soppy cups for little ones who are too old for the spouts but not quite big enough for a big kid cup.

This is a wonderful cup and my son caught on quickly to using it. I didn't notice any leaking, despite my toddler leaving the cup nearly upside down for an extended period of time. I will be buying more cups like this in the future! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I've used Playtex straw cups in the past, when my 9 year old was a toddler. I liked those cups so I was excited to have my almost 3 year old try them. These Sipsters straw cups are improved from the old ones we had. The lid has a sliding piece that folds the straw down and covers it completely. This snaps in place and keeps the straw concealed, which is great for when we're carrying the cup around with us. I like that it keeps the straw clean and also helps prevent any drips. So far I haven't noticed any drip/leak issues. In the old cups, liquid would sometimes drip out of the straw (similar to how a little bit of liquid stops between the valve and spout of a sippy cup and can drip out when tipped). I don't think this cup will eliminate those drips, however I haven't seen many at all so far. The straw is in two pieces: the sipping part is connected to the valve (same bendable plastic as other Playtex valves) and has a secure fit, but is still easy to take off for cleaning. The bottom straw is a hard plastic and pushes into the bottom of the valve. The actual cup feels different than the old cups. The plastic has just a little give to it if you squeeze it whereas the old cup was hard and solid. At first I was worried that they cheapened the cup materials; now I can see the cup is still durable but maybe is a bit more comfortable for little hands to hold. Overall I like this cup a lot and feel it will last for quite a while! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Really love the design and find it very easy to clean, however my son would occasionally have trouble getting suction after reassembly. I would have to take it apart and reassemble the top portion once or twice before he could get reliable suction. But overall we really do like this cup and are impressed with the design.
