Playtex VentAire Advanced Wide Gift Set

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I used these for all 4 of my children and would recommend to anyone having a baby.

Another gift for my niece for her baby shower. These are spare bottles since she will be nursing her daughter.

The WIDE nipple was great, never had a problem switching from breast to bottle. Loved the design, got every last drop and when my daughter was old enough she could hold it herself. But, I have 2 complaints. First, I felt like I spent WAY too much time cleaning. Each bottle has four parts that need to be separated and washed meticulously or a film is left on them. When time & sleep are precious, the last thing you want to be doing is washing a hundred little pieces. My second complaint is that if the bottom rubber disc isn't completely DRY it leaks all over. After about 4 months the rubber starts to lose it's integrity and soften so they eventually leak anyway. All in all they got the job done for the first baby, but definitely won't use them for the second.

My baby hates smaller nipple bottle and the only nipples she likes was in the drop ins which i are sooo expensive! You could've bought several packs of brand new bottles by the time your infant gets done with drop ins i know this because of my 1st child... but i found these and they have the exact same nipples and she loves them i'm going to save so much more money now thank goodness!

I'm a mother of 3 children and I've been using these bottles since 1999...Yes...a LONG time ago lol. My son was born in 1999 and is now 13yrs old and he used them first. I have a 2yr old daughter who used these bottles until she turned 1yr and now my youngest daughter, 6mths uses them as well. I've never had an issue with them leaking...EVER! If you wash these bottles and give them time to dry properly there shouldn't be any issue of leakage. Also, the numbers on the bottle have never worn...I do not use the dishwasher to wash them as I prefer to handwash. I'd rather make sure the bottles are clean to my liking than save time in the dishwasher...just my opinion. I would recommend these bottles to any baby!!! With the airflow the nipples and bottles provide my children never had gas or tummy issues :-)
