A must buy, especially if you are on the Carnivore Diet. Cream tasting, great in eggs, and no joke, coffee!

I thought it has a bit of a sour taste. I tried it because it was less expensive than Kerry gold, but I probably won't buy again.

Today I had the opportunity to try Plugra Premium European Style Salted Butter. After falling in love with European butter while traveling, I really appreciate the creamy, richness of Plugra. Plugra is the closest thing I have had to European butter outside of Europe. Plugra's higher butter fat content gives it a richer taste than regular butter. Plugra looks and acts like regular butter, but the real difference is in the taste. Isn't that why we use butter in the first place? It's all about the taste and, in my opinion, Plugra tastes best.

European style butter is my preference for special dishes and baking because the higher butterfat makes everything even tastier. This butter has 82% butterfat, which makes it extra rich and creamy. This is the perfect butter for making buttery pastries, and it's equally tasty on some fresh baked bread. This butter is pricier, so it's not something I use for every day. This butter also comes in a single 8oz block, so it will not fit in a standard single stick butter dish, but the larger black makes measuring for baking easier.

This is my first time trying Plugra Premium European style salted butter. When buying butter, I usually buy unsalted in any brand. It is creamy and smooth and spreads easily on bread. It does not taste high in fat or greasy and has a very light smooth flavor. It melts easily when needed. I just wish the sticks were wrapped individually and not the whole half a pound in one packet. Otherwise I highly recommend the product.
