I received a free sample of Pond's Clarant B3 Dark Spot Correcting Cream for Balanced to Dry Skin. The first thing I noticed was the nice light scent. I also liked the nice thick creamy texture. It looks thick but, absorbs quickly and doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy. I really think it has helped fade my dark spots. I will definitely be purchasing more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of this product from www.pinchme.com and I was surprised with its effects and scent. It smelled much better than the old "Ponds" I tried from my mother's medicine cabinet, it smells great and made my face feel tighter.

I tried this product in the travel size and was skeptical. I am a darker shade and it's very hard to get rid of dark spots that are new and old. However, it faded most of my marks from prior years and also my fave is now one even tone. Best of all it keeps my face moisturized but not oily enough to block my pores. After using this product faithfully it really has done wonders for my skin and is now my holy grail.

I'll start with a short back ground, so you have an idea of how this works for me. I am a female in my 20's. I am caucasian. I have consistent acne although not severe, but still enough to be a bother at this age. I still have breakouts randomly, but almost always during my monthly. I sensitive and combination skin - sometimes oily, sometimes dry, and on great days normal - but always sensitive. I gave this product 5 stars, and here's why: 1. It has Vitamin B3 - intended to reduce redness and dark spots. I have reddish skin and dark spots from acne. This helps tremendously with dark spots and even diminishes some of my redness. I will say it does not clear my redness entirely - but I don't expect a product to completely get rid of anything, ever. 2. It has Vitamin C intended to rejuvenate your skin. My skin feels and looks better than ever when I use this *routinely* along with my face wash routine (I use my Clarisonic and Cetaphil for gentle skin). I apply this every morning and every night. 3. It smells PHENOMENAL! I wish I could bottle the scent and use it as a body mist! 4. It feels super lightweight on my skin and dries quickly. 5. I have pretty sensitive skin and this product (along with all other POND'S products) does not bother my skin and in fact helps keep it clear. I know this won't be true for everyone, but for me it works - and I love it. 6. I have found that some products will work with my skin for a time, and then they suddenly don't have the same affect they once did. I haven't found this to be true for this product. I have used it consistently for many years with no change! Wonderful, light, great smell, and works! Can't ask for much more than that!
